The roots of happiness lie deep within our mind; methods for achieving it can be practiced by anyone. Learn life-enhancing techniques with emphasis on experience using meditation to bring about actual changes in our thoughts, feelings and actions.



Yoga and Qi Gong for Flexibility, Harmony, Vibrancy

Stretch, relax and strengthen with gentle yogic movements. Activate and harmonize vital energy through the ancient Chinese art of movement, awareness and breath called Qigong. Take home wonderful healing methods to enhance health and well-being.



Healing With Plants, Foods, Aromatherapy

Create vibrant health with nature's healing secrets. Improve stamina, enhance relaxation, build stronger bones, stimulate digestion, increase circulation. Learn to make infusions, tinctures; use essential oils in steams, baths and massage blends.




Santa Cruz

On the north side of Monterey Bay, 74 miles south of San Francisco, Santa Cruz is a peaceful, beachside community with an offbeat spirit, a penchant for the eccentric, and a colorful boardwalk that is one of the last of its kind on the West Coast.



Accommodations

  From Monterey take Highway 1 north bound Exit - Bay/Porter street exit; right on Main St.; go through intersection, stay on Main St.;bear rt.on Glenhaven: Right on Prescott Rd. Land of Medicine Buddha is at the end of Prescott Rd.
  Highway 17 from San Jose South bound on Highway 1; Exit at Bay/Porter street. Turn left under the freeway; Take first right on Main Street; go through intersection with Soquel Drive: stay on Main Street for another 3/4 mile; bear rt. on Glenhaven Road: First Right on Prescott Rd. Land of Medicine Buddha is at the end of Prescott Rd.

Day 3: Movement and meditation class in the morning, after lunch go on a nature walk and learn about healing with plants
