Cover Stories and Cover-ups From History
Cover stories and cover-ups abound in history. They reveal values of the eras in which they occurred. Episodes from Rasputin and the Russian Revolution to Pope Joan will be revealing.
What the Greek Tragedies Teach Us
Using the Greek Tragedies of the Classical age with emphasis on Sophocle’s Antigone, we will explore many of the political problems from the causes of war and the uneasy alliance between church and state.
Folk Art Around the World
Drawing on Mariposa Museum’s extensive collection of world folk art, explore folk art's message about the cultures and people who create it. Hands on with the artifacts will help us find connections to our own experiences and cultures.
