Nestled in southwest New Hampshire, West Swanzey is one of several postcard perfect towns in the Monadnock region. Winding wooded roads through six covered bridges, historic sites and Mount Monadnock itself offer an incredible opportunity to capture its essence in time on canvas. The first week in September is designed for the beginner to the novice and the second week of September and June are for intermediate to advanced watercolor artists. Our studio is surrounded by the incredible beauty of nature awaiting your presence.

West Swanzey
Nestled in the valley of southwest New Hampshire, West Swanzey is one of several postcard-perfect towns in the Monadock region. Winding roads pass covered bridges, historic sites and the 3,000-foot Mount Monadnock, one of the most popular ascents in New England.

Sarah Dyer
Sarah Dyer became a watercolorist during her retirement, and as a Master Teacher, she has brought those skills into the world of watercolor painting. As a professional artist, she has had numerous shows and has taught Road Scholar programs for nine years. Students love her enthusiasm, clarity of instruction and the way she encourages them to learn.
Louise Anderson
Louise Anderson is a professional watercolor artist and instructor from North Reading, Mass., who has participated in numerous art shows. She has taught Road Scholar intermediate and advanced students for 10 years, and returning students applaud her ability to instruct and encourage.
Justine Coleman
A resident of Massachusetts, Justine Coleman is an accomplished watercolor artist and instructor who has held numerous award-winning art shows. A favorite teacher at Pilgrim Pines, Justine has been especially helpful to intermediate and advanced painters in taking the next step in their development.

#91 N to exit 28A...(N of Greenfield, MA exit) Follow #10 N from that exit through Winchester, NH. Four miles N of Winchester look for Pilgrim Pines sign. When you pass the Shamrock Reality building, turn R on Swanzey Lake Rd. Follow 4 miles, bearing R to West Shore Rd. Turn L on West Shore Rd and follow one mile to Pilgrim Pines sign... continue 1/4 mile to Mayflower Lodge - Office.
