Have you ever wondered how a magician performs those amazing tricks? Explore the wonderful world of magic with a grandchild in this week-long workshop. In addition to basic lessons in magic and sleight-of-hand from a professional magician, discover the history of magic and learn more about famous magicians. Create your own small scale illusions such as the squared circle or silk transfer.

Settled in 1769 on the banks of the Ohio, Wheeling served as the state's first capital and became a major overland route when the Wheeling Suspension Bridge was constructed across the Ohio River more than 150 years ago. The 30-acre Good Zoo and Benedum Planetarium are two of the other features of this outstanding resort.   East I-68 West to Morgantown, WV, I-79 North to Washington, PA, I-70 West to Wheeling, WV. Exit 2A in Wheeling, turn right on Rt. 40, in approximately one mile turn left on Rt. 88 South. Oglebay is located on Rt. 88. Follow signs in Oglebay to Wilson Lodge. Baltimore is 310 miles from Wheeling.
  North From Pittsburgh, take I-79 South to I-70 West to Wheeling Exit 2A. Turn right on Rt. 40, in approximately one mile turn left on Rt. 88 North. Oglebay is on Rt. 88 North. Follow signs in Oglebay to Wilson Lodge. Oglebay is 60 miles from Pittsburgh.
  South I-79 North to Washington, PA, I-70 West to Wheeling, WV. Exit 2A in Wheeling, turn right on Rt. 40, in approximately one mile turn left on Rt. 88 South. Oglebay is located on Rt. 88. Follow signs in Oglebay to Wilson Lodge.

Day 2: Introduction to Magic, Craft Sessions, and History and Presentation of Levitations
(Monday, July 15)
   
 Breakfast: Breakfast buffet at Ihlenfeld Dining Room.
 Morning: Introductions. Program format discussed. Basic psychology of Magic; Magic with simple objects; color touch Magic.
 Lunch: Lunch at Wilson Lodge.
 Afternoon: Craft session: Begin work on major Magic projects - Square Circle and Magic Coloring Book.
 Dinner: Dinner at Wilson Lodge.
 Evening: An Uplifting Experience: History and presentation of levitations and suspensions.

Day 3: Craft Sessions, String Magic, and Musical Entertainment

 Afternoon: Predict-a-Card; Card Magic; and, Where do I go from here?

 Evening: Magic Show. Round Table: Wrap up all loose ends and answer any yet unanswered questions.
