| | Cindy Miano retired in 2004 from a career in elementary education where she taught fourth grade and served as a language Arts chairperson. In addition to managing Shawnee Institute Road Scholar programs, Cindy is a personal trainer and life coach. She practices Pilates, yoga and various strength training programs, and helps to promote wellness plans for individuals while helping them to achieve overall good health. | | | | Leslie Underhill
| | An avid student of yoga for the last seven years, Leslie Underhill has combined her love of the discipline with her enthusiasm for teaching. In 2004, she opened the studio Yogannamaste, and recently opened a bed and breakfast where she teaches yoga to guests. In addition to taking her classes to businesses and schools in the area, Leslie also teaches yoga to cancer survivors at the Pocono Medical Center. She is certified in spanda yoga and is classified as an ERYT 200. | | | | Kathleen Sandt
| | For more than 10 years, Kathleen Sandt has worked for the National Park Service at the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area as a park ranger and education coordinator. Prior to government service, Ms. Sandt worked as a living history interpreter and education coordinator for privately operated, not-for-profit living history organizations. Her interests include Native American culture, gardening, hiking, collecting antique postcards of the local area and spending time with her family. | | | | Len Rue
| | For over 20 years, Len Rue has led educational photo excursions in North America, Africa, Australia and South America. He teaches credited courses in photography for both undergraduate and graduate programs as an adjunct professor at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania. Lens photos have been published in hundreds of publications worldwide, including Newsweek, National Geographic and Readers Digest. Len has a B.A. in professional photography and a M.A. in instructional technology. | | | | Elizabeth Ginsberg
| | A native of New York City, Elizabeth Ginsberg is a graduate and former teacher of the Rhode Island School of Design, and has also taught at Moore College of Art and parsons School of Design. She has exhibited her art in more than 40 solo exhibitions in locations including Tokyo, Munich, Seattle and Washington, D.C. Elizabeth has studied in Italy, Peru and Japan, and enjoyed a one-month residency in Venice. Her art is held in private and public collections around the world. | | | |
