Learn or refine your cross country skiing techniques with our professional Nordic instructors in small classes, and practice the classic and skating techniques on our 42 kilometers of cross-country trails. Explore the pristine Maine woods on an expert-led snowshoe adventure, featuring some of the region’s most sought-after trails and beautiful mountain vistas of Maine's White Mountains. In the evenings, learn from massage and fitness professionals about yoga techniques specific to the muscles used in skiing and snowshoeing.

Driving Directions
From Northern Maine
I-95 South to Exit 157 at Newport ME, Route 2 West through Rumford, continue into Bethel, make a left at the Mallard Mart onto Parkway. At the stop sign make a right and continue straight to the next stop sign. Go left and the Bethel Inn is on the right.
From the South
Maine Turnpike I-95 North to Gray exit #63, take route 26N to Bethel. At the welcome to Bethel sign continue straight to stop sign at the top of Main Street. Take a left and the Bethel Inn is on the right. I-91 to St. Johnsbury VT, take Route 2 East to Bethel ME, at stop sign make a right onto Main Street and go straight to next stop sign. Make a left and the Bethel Inn is on the right.

Afternoon:
Welcome to the beautiful village of Bethel, Maine. Spend the afternoon exploring the Bethel area, enjoy an afternoon cross country ski trip or snowshoeing. In addition, enjoy over 200 acres of resort activities at The Bethel Inn Resort before our welcome orientation at 5pm.
Dinner:
Enjoy a beautifully prepared dinner complete with choice of entrees with vegetables, homemade bread, soup or salad and homemade dessert.
Evening:
Following dinner, we'll have a welcome orientaion to discuss the week's activities. Cross country ski professionals will be on-hand to discuss the week's line-up and programs. Also enjoy resort amenities including our outdoor heated pool, whirlpool, saunas, fitness center and more.

Skiing and Ski Clinics at The Nordic Ski Center/Lunch/Ski waxing/equipment clinic and resort activities

Breakfast:
Enjoy a grand breakfast buffet including eggs, pancakes or french toast, breakfast meat, hot and cold cereal, juice, coffee and fruit. Served in the Main Dining Room.
Morning:
Enjoy a morning ski session at our Nordic Ski Center. Learn and refine your skills in clinics with expert instructors for skiers of all abilties.. The trail network offers over 42 km of groomed trails from wooded single track to wide rolling trails on the golf course with beautiful mountain vistas.
Lunch:
Full lunch served in the Millbrook Tavern and Grille at the Inn after morning ski session.
Afternoon:
Learn about the latest in ski equipment with a waxing demonstation from our cross country ski professionals. In addition, enjoy over 200 acres of resort activities at The Bethel Inn Resort from cross country skiing and snowshoeing, in-town walks or relaxing by one of the Inn's many fireplaces.
Dinner:

Ski Clinics at The Nordic Ski Center/Guided Snowshoe and Resort Recreation/Healthy Eating and Nutrition

Morning:
Enjoy a morning ski session at the resort's Nordic Ski Center. Learn about classic and skate skiing techniques and expand your skills with specific programs on climbing hills and downhill decents.
Lunch:
Full lunch at the Inn after morning ski session.
Afternoon:
Explore the woods of the resort on a guided snowshoe adventure. Learn about the natural habitat, history of the resort and take in the natural beauty of the area. Rentals available in the Nordic Ski Center.
Dinner:
A complete dinner, entrees with vegetables, homemade bread, soup or salad and homemade dessert.
Evening:
Join local nutritionist/chef Cathi and learn about healthy eating practices and the truths and myths about nutrition and diets.

Yoga and Stretching Techniques specific to XC skiing/Historical Tour and Resort Activities

Morning:
Join our massage therapists and fitness instructors for a session with basic yoga and stretching techniques specific to cross country skiing.

Full lunch at the Inn after morning ski session at Sunday River.
Afternoon:
Spend the afternoon at the Bethel Historical Society and learn more about the history of the area, economy and industry. Plus, an afternon Yoga session focusing stretching and strenghening as it relates to nordic skiing. In addition, enjoy over 200 acres of resort activities at The Bethel Inn Resort from cross country skiing and snowshoeing, in-town walks or relaxing by one of the Inn's many fireplaces.

To showcase the nature beauty of the region, we'll head out for a cross country ski adventure during the late afternoon the enjoy a mountain sunset. In addition, enjoy over 200 acres of resort activities at The Bethel Inn Resort from cross country skiing and snowshoeing, in-town walks or relaxing by one of the Inn's many fireplaces.
