  From highway. From the San Francisco Airport and from the North: Take Hwy. 101 South, exit on Broadway/Burlingame. Take the second exit as you come off the freeway -- Airport Boulevard/Old Bayshore Highway. Turn right and go east over the Rollins Road overpass (driving over the freeway). Turn right on Old Bayshore Highway. Turn left onto Airport Blvd., then left onto Anza. From the South: Take Hwy. 101 north, exit at Anza Blvd., go straight two blocks to the Embassy Suites. From the East: Take 580 west to 238 to 880 south. Take Hwy. 92 west, and cross the San Mateo Toll Bridge. Take Hwy. 101 north, exit at Anza Blvd., go straight two blocks to the Embassy Suites.  Morning: 9:30-11:30: Great Virtuosi of Classical Music The great virtuosi have thrilled audiences for generations. Join us as we learn about the great pianists Ignace Jan Paderewski and Vladimir Horowitz, the great violinists Fritz Kreisler and Jascha Heifetz, and Pablo Casals, the legendary cellist. Come and enjoy the music!

 Evening: 7-9: San Francisco in the Movies: Enjoy The City by the Bay's unusually scenic locations in a wide variety of motion picture genres -- ranging from classic crime featuring Clint Eastwood's "Dirty Harry," film noir as depicted in the Edmond O'Brien classic thriller "D.O.A." and fast-paced swordsmen adventure in "Scaramouche," which crazily enough was shot in Golden Gate Park. You'll also see the Golden Gate Bridge in its greatest splendor in Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo" and Mel Brooks' "High Anxiety." Pass beneath the Bay Bridge in a ferryboat in a sequence from Fox's "In Love and War." There's also a "Dick Tracy" action sequence on the Bay Bridge and a horror episode set in Fisherman's Wharf from "It Came From Beneath the Sea." Candlestick Park is vividly presented in Blake Edwards' "Experiment of Terror." It's so out of control you'll also see Clark Gable in "San Francisco" as the 1906 earthquake all but sends him into the depths of the bay. Bonus: Interview with Karl Malden about "The Streets of San Francisco."

 Morning: 9:30-11:30: Italian Art Tour From Titian to Michelangelo, from the Renaissance to Baroque, we take a tour of the stunning art of Northern Italy. The masterpieces, monuments and churches will be placed in cultural and historical perspective.

 Afternoon: 3-5: Prime Time Crime: TV Drama: From Perry Mason and Vice Squad to ER and Law and Order, detective and doctor shows filled the tube for six decades. We'll relive some of those classic and current moments and see what's kept people tuned in and spellbound.

  Burlingame Bay Front trail
There is the Bay Front trail, excellent for walking or jogging, along San Francisco Bay right in front of the hotel, with fabulous views of the Bay and four-acre park and lagoon. Trail features a small fishing pier at the far end of the hotel's parking lot, for scenic views or angling. Many bird-watching opportunities!
  Hiller Aviation Museum
Six miles from hotel. The museum’s 53,000 sq. ft. complex consists of a main exhibit hall, an entrance atrium, 35-seat theater, 50-seat conference center, and gift shop. The Restoration Shop, with its large picture windows, allows the visitor to witness the ongoing restoration process. Collection includes 50 aircraft exhibits: Vintage and futuristic aircraft, prototypes, photographic displays, and models are on display.
