Meet and talk with Chinese nationals and American Foreign Service retirees who will lead you through the history of this ancient nation, from mystical beliefs and legendary rulers to the recent Olympic Games. Learn about historical landmarks, Chinese philosophy and religion, and the great dynasties and their emperors as well as the impact of modernization.

• Explore Chinese visual and performing arts supported by live and hands-on demonstrations, performances by musicians, dancers, martial artists, performers, painters, and Calligraphy.
• Learn about the Buddhist faith at a local Buddhist Temple.
• Enjoy a demonstration of “wok” cooking and join the fun making spring rolls and won-tons with a Chinese chef while enjoying a traditional meal.
