Sugarbush Resort, one of the premier ski areas of the East, encompasses two mountains, six peaks, a terrain park and the 2,000-acre Slide Brook Wilderness area. Nearby, the villages of Waitsfield and Warren offer a chance to experience the historic side of Vermont. Ski some of the Northeast’s best snow conditions at Sugarbush as you enjoy an all-mountain lift ticket good for four days and improve your technique with daily ski clinics.

Sugarbush

During its 50-plus years of operation in Warren, Vermont, Sugarbush Village has annually welcomed skiers and snowboarders to enjoy its 53 miles of trails and snowy peaks. While experiencing the region’s winter sports, visitors may also take in Warren’s historic town center, as well as the nature trails and covered bridges of the Mad River Valley.

Day 1: 5:30 p.m. Orientation and briefing followed by dinner in the hotel. You will be staying at Sugarbush Inn that night.
  End of Program:
After breakfast on Day 6. Check out by 10 a.m. You will be staying at Sugarbush Inn the night before.

Driving Directions
  All Points If you plan to drive, check the town of Warren, VT website for current road conditions www.warrenvt.org
  Northbound directions from Albany and points south and west Take I-87 Northway to Exit 20, go northeast to NY #149 to Route 4 to Route 100. Follow Route 100 North to Warren. Turn left onto the Sugarbush Access Road and drive 1.9 miles. The Sugarbush Inn is on the right.
  Northbound directions from New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New York and points south Take I-89 north to Exit 9/Middlesex to Route 100b. Follow 100b to 100 South through Waitsfield. Turn right onto the Sugarbush Access Road and drive 1.9 miles. The Sugarbush Inn is on the right.
  Southbound directions from Burlington or Montreal Take I-89 south to Exit 10 Waterbury. Follow Route 2 south through Waterbury to Route 100 South. Follow 100 South through Waitsfield. Turn right onto the Sugarbush Access Road and drive 1.9 miles. The Sugarbush Inn is on the right.
Elevation Note: 3975 feet at the summit Lincoln Peak; 4,083 feet at the summit of Mt. Ellen.

Equipment Requirements: Ski equipment and suitable outdoor clothing. You may bring your own ski equipment, or rent a ski package from the resort rental store. Because weather is variable, several removable light layers, with one warmer jacket, are recommended. Helmet and UV sunglasses/goggles strongly advised.

Day 1: Arrivals and Welcome
(Sunday, March 3)
   
 Afternoon: Independent arrivals. 3:00 – 4:30 Hotel and Program Check-In. 5:30 p.m. Welcome Orientation & Briefing with Group Leader
 Dinner: 6:30 Buffet dinner in the Hearth Restaurant.
 Evening: Introduction to Sugarbush and fellow participants.

Day 2: Skiing and Winter Wellness
(Monday, March 4)
   
 Breakfast: Expanded continental buffet breakfast includes coffee, tea, juice; assorted cold cereals and oatmeal; fresh fruit, bagels, toast, assorted pastries and yogurt, quiche or waffles with maple syrup.
 Morning: Group leader-led yoga and stretching. Depart to Lincoln Peak via free shuttle bus. 9:00 a.m.: Meet for Ski Clinic in the Farmhouse. 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.: Ski Clinic, divided into groups according to ability, with an instructor: student ratio of a 1:8 maximum.
 Lunch: A voucher is included for lunch at your leisure in the Gate House Lodge.
 Afternoon: Ski at your leisure. Your all-mountain lift ticket may be used anywhere on Sugarbush’s two mountains, the terrain park and the 2,000 acre Slidebrook Wilderness area.
 Dinner: 6:30 p.m. in the Hearth Restaurant.
 Evening: Presentation on Winter Wellness: Learn stretching and ski conditioning moves from an expert. The actual order of evening presentations may vary by program date.

Day 3: Skiing and Vermont Localvore Movement
(Tuesday, March 5)
   
 Breakfast: Expanded continental breakfast in the dining room.
 Morning: Group leader-led yoga and stretching. Depart to Lincoln Peak at your leisure, via free shuttle bus. 9:00 a.m.: Meet for Ski Clinic in the Farmhouse. 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.: Ski Clinic, divided into groups according to ability.
 Lunch: A voucher is included for lunch at your leisure in the Gate House Lodge.
 Afternoon: Ski at your leisure.
 Dinner: 6:30 p.m. in the Hearth Restaurant.
 Evening: Presentation: One of the resort?s chef discusses Vermont?s ?Localvore? movement and how Sugarbush incorporates it. A movie or ski technique DVD will by screened on the large screen TV in the Tap Room.

Day 4: Skiing and Black Bear Habitat
(Wednesday, March 6)
   
 Breakfast: Expanded continental breakfast in the dining room.
 Morning: Group leader-led yoga and stretching. Depart to Lincoln Peak at your leisure, via free shuttle bus. 9:00 a.m.: Meet for Ski Clinic in the Farmhouse. 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.: Ski Clinic, divided into groups according to ability.
 Lunch: A voucher is included for lunch at your leisure in the Gate House Lodge.
 Afternoon: Ski at your leisure.
 Dinner: 6:30 p.m. in the Hearth Restaurant.
 Evening: Presentation: Learn about local habitat, black bear behavior and 'a year in the life'.

Day 5: Skiing and Behind the Scenes Logistics
(Thursday, March 7)
   
 Breakfast: Expanded continental breakfast in the dining room.
 Morning: Group leader-led yoga and stretching. Depart to Lincoln Peak at your leisure, via free shuttle bus. 9:00 a.m.: Meet for Ski Clinic in the Farmhouse. 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.: Ski Clinic, divided into groups according to ability.
 Lunch: A voucher is included for lunch at your leisure in the Gate House Lodge.
 Afternoon: Ski at your leisure.
 Dinner: Farewell Dinner in the Grill Restaurant, at Sugarbush Inn.
 Evening: A Sugarbush mountain operations & ski school spokesperson explains behind-the-scenes logistics of running a mountain. Program wrap-up and farewells.

Day 6: Departures
