Lower your handicap and make your game more enjoyable by letting Jekyll Island's best golf professionals show you ways of improving your putting, chipping, pitching and bunker play. Apply newly learned skills during three afternoons of 18 holes of golf. When not on the course, explore all the beauty the island has to offer.

• Each morning, work with PGA-certified pros to improve your short game during clinics that emphasize putting, chipping, full swing and more.
• Play golf on three afternoon on one of three 18-hole courses -- Pines Lakes, Indian Mound and Oleander -- and 9-hole course Great Dunes, one of the oldest courses in the U.S.
• Off the course, learn from local experts about the history and ecology of the island.
Activity Particulars
Standing, swinging clubs two hours each day. Carts provided for afternoon play. Personal clubs welcome. Limited rentals available.
Jekyll Island has bragging rights as Georgia's largest public golf resort. With three 18 hole golf courses—Pine Lakes, Indian Mound and Oleander—Jekyll Island has something for golfers of all ability levels to enjoy. In addition to its spectacular 18 hole courses, Jekyll Island also boasts Great Dunes, the historic nine hole course.

Jekyll Island
One of Georgia’s southernmost barrier islands, Jekyll Island has a storied past. At the turn of the century, it hosted an exclusive club that attracted the likes of the Astors, Rockefellers and Vanderbilts. Much of that world is preserved in a historic district near the riverfront. Today, the island is popular for golfing, fishing and kayaking.

| | Robert Ellis is a PGA Professional in Jekyll Island, Ga. He is the director of golf for Jekyll Island's four courses: Pine Lakes, Indian Mound, Oleander and Great Dunes. Rob has completed the Professional Golfers' Association of America training program. | | Spencer Brookman went to James Madison University, where he played on the club golf team. He nterned at Jekyll Island Golf Club during his senior year of college, and graduated with a degree in sports and recreation management. After graduation, he worked at Fredericksburg Country Club before returning to Jekyll Island in the spring of 2011. He is currently a level 1 apprentice with the PGA, working towards earning his Class A membership. | | | | Chip Ward
| | Chip Ward is an enthusiastic purveyor of knowledge about Jekyll Island’s history, ecology and culture, having lived on the barrier island since 1990. A onetime teacher at Penn State University, he owned a retail music store in State Collge, Pa., for 15 years and uses that acumen as the leader of a sing-along band called Sentimental Journey. | | Pat Morris is a retired high school mathematics teacher from Glynn Academy in Brunswick, Ga. A Georgia native who has resided on the Peach State’s coastline for 37 years, Pat leads informative nature walks and assists groups with her fount of area knowledge at the 4H Tidelands Nature Center on Jekyll Island. | | | | Tricia Buie
| | Tricia Buie makes history come alive through her work with Civil War reenactments and as a living history presenter throughout the Southeast, specializing in the lives of 19th-century women. She is a Coastal Georgia Historian and is a volunteer docent for the Coastal Georgia Historic Lighthouse and Hofwyl Plantation. Tricia and her husband have personally researched and restored 6 historic homes, and they presently reside in a 108 year-old farmhouse. | | | |
