Rangers introduce you to the Aigas Field Centre’s mountain lochs, moorland, Bronze and Iron Age remains and impressive formal gardens. Learn about Highlands ecology and look for native wildlife. Delve into this area’s turbulent history at sites like the infamous Culloden Battlefield and Macbeth’s Cawdor Castle. Ride a boat into the Cromarty Firth and keep an eye out for bottlenose dolphins. On a night-time walking excursion, search out pine martens, otters, badgers and other nocturnally active creatures.
