Accept the challenge of three 9-hole championship courses on an exotic island. Learn through daily group instruction, practice sessions on a driving range, and four days of golf. Play all 27 holes along a landscape framed by moss-draped live oaks. Round out your stay on the island with a field trip to explore St. Simons and a taste of local cuisine at a favorite island spot. Test your golf skills at this impressive resort designed especially for those who love golf — with lots for non-golfers to do as well.

Program begins with hotel check-in at 4 pm followed by orientation and dinner. You will be staying at Sea Palms Golf and Tennis Resort that night.

Program ends with 11:00 am check-out. Golfers may extend their stay and play and leave luggage at hotel desk. You will be staying at Sea Palms Golf and Tennis Resort the night before.

The easiest way to get to St. Simons Island is to fly to Atlanta, GA and then take the commuter plane to Brunswick, GA, which is 17 miles from program site. You will have to change planes in Atlanta. Shuttle service from Brunswick airport to program site on St. Simons arranged by reservation. Driving Directions
  From Atlanta, GA to Sea Palms Resort DIRECTIONS TO SEA PALMS FROM ATLANTA, GA Take I-75 south to I-16 East to I-95 South before you get to Savannah. FROM SAVANNAH Take I-95 South to Georgia Exit #38. Turn left onto Spur 25. In approximately 3 miles Spur 25 will turn into Hwy 17. At the third light turn left onto the F.J. Torras Causeway. The Causesway to St. Simons Island is approximately 4 miles long. As soon as you get on the island get in the left lane because you will take a left at the first traffic light. You will be turning onto Sea Island Road. Proceed on this road a couple miles then at the next traffic light, turn left onto Frederica Road. Approximately 2 miles on your left will be the Sea Palms Golf & Tennis Resort Registration building.
  From Brunswick Airport to Sea Palms Resort DRIVING DIRECTIONS FROM BRUNSWICK AIRPORT TO SEA PALMS When leaving the airport turn left on to Jetport Road. At the end of the road take a right on to US. Hwy. 17, heading south. Stay on Hwy. 17 for approximately 5 or 6 miles. Once you pass the Hercules (Pulp mill on the right) you will take a left on to the St. Simons Island causeway. The Causesway to St. Simons Island is approximately 4 miles long. As soon as you get on the island get in the left lane because you will take a left at the first traffic light. You will be turning onto Sea Island Road. Proceed on this road a couple miles then at the next traffic light, turn left onto Frederica Road. Approximately 2 miles on your left will be the Sea Palms Golf & Tennis Resort Registration building.
  From Jacksonville, FL to Sea Palms Resort DIRECTIONS TO SEA PALMS FROM JACKSONVILLE, FL Take I-95 North to Georgia Exit #29. After you exit, turn right onto Hwy 17 N. Approximately 4 miles you will cross a large span bridge. After you cross the bridge, the exit for St. Simons Island Causeway will be approximately 2 miles on your right. The Causesway to St. Simons Island is approximately 4 miles long. As soon as you get on the island get in the left lane because you will take a left at the first traffic light. You will be turning onto Sea Island Road. Proceed on this road a couple miles then at the next traffic light, turn left onto Frederica Road. Approximately 2 miles on your left will be the Sea Palms Golf & Tennis Resort Registration building.

 Dinner: Dinner is at 6:00 pm
 Evening: The evening is free and a time to unpack and get to know your hotel and surroundings.

Day 2: Golf Etiquette/Putting/Play Golf/Golf Stretch Class
(Monday, April 8)
   
 Breakfast: Breakfast
 Morning: Golf Clinic and lecture on golf etiquette. Golf lesson on the putting green with golf pros.
 Lunch: Lunch
 Afternoon: Golf play will begin at 1:00 pm.
 Dinner: Dinner
 Evening: Golf stretch class. How to loosen up before starting to play....injury free golf.

Day 3: Golf Instruction/Lunch/Play Golf/St. Simons History
(Tuesday, April 9)
   
 Breakfast: Breakfast
 Morning: Golf pro's will give a lecture and demonstration on chipping and will once again emphasize putting on the green.
 Lunch: Lunch at hotel.
 Afternoon: Golf play begins at 1:00 pm.
 Dinner: Dinner at the hotel.
 Evening: Presentation called Under the Water is led by a naturalist and a resident of St. Simons . She is a favorite everytime.

Day 4: St. Simons Field Trip/Popular Local Restaurant/Play Golf/Dinner/Presentation
(Wednesday, April 10)
   
 Breakfast: Breakfast
 Morning: Participants will board the motorcoach for a field trip on St. Simons Island to introduce you to your beautiful surroundings. An historian will accompany you and give a narrative along the way about the history of the island, stopping at selected sites. The group will be getting on and off the motorcoach for a closer look at some of the important architectural gems.
 Lunch: Sample local cuisine at a popular local restaurant.
 Afternoon: Golf play begins at 1:30 pm.
 Dinner: Dinner at hotel.
 Evening: Absorb the information about St. Simons Island and barrier island dynamics led by an expert naturalist from an environmental education center.

Day 5: Golf instruction/Lunch/Golf Scramble/Farewell dinner/Social

 Afternoon: Golf Scramble will take place at 1:00 pm.
