Vintage excerpts and commentary make this an unforgettable adventure into the best of the best! Then, Broadway rings in with comedy, drama and musicals! Explore some of Broadway’s greatest hits - “Showboat,” “Porgy and Bess,” “Girl Crazy,” “Oklahoma!” “Kiss Me Kate,” “My Fair Lady” and “West Side Story.”

Rehoboth Beach

Long ago, Native Americans came here during the summer for cool breezes and abundant seafood. Today, visitors from the D.C. area and beyond flock to Rehoboth Beach -- established as a seaside resort in 1891 -- to enjoy those same features, and to relax on sandy beaches and in beachfront cafes.

Bill Messenger
Bill Messenger is a musician whose Road Scholar programs are a mix of popular music history and song, combining whimsical tales with catchy tunes that tickle the ivories and the funny bone. In his musical career Bill has played backup piano for Mama Cass Elliot, studied musical composition at the Peabody Conservatory under Louis Cheslock and been voted “Baltimore’s Best Pianist” by the readers of Baltimore Magazine. Critic Robert Lippman called him “a cross between Max Morath and Victor Borge.”
