EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
From the Gateway Arch to the Cincinnati Skyline, journey along two of the great rivers of America and learn about how this region played an important role in film history past and present. Lazing along the Ohio River and Mighty Mississippi on the American Queen — the world’s largest paddlewheel steamboat — you will learn of a special love story behind “Gone With the Wind,” weigh Thomas Edison and silent film director D.W. Griffith’s role in the medium, and trace A-lister Jennifer Lawrence’s hunger for stardom. Lights, camera, action!

• Explore St. Louis which includes a visit to the historic Forest Park neighborhood, site of the 1904 World's Fair.
• In the Mississippi River town of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, explore film locations for the 2009 movie “Killshot” starring Diane Lane, as well as 2014’s “Gone Girl,” starring Ben Affleck.
• At each stop on the river, explore sites such as the John J. Audubon Museum, learn the riverboat’s impact on U.S. history, how river locks work, and onboard the elegant American Queen, take in a nightly show before bedtime.

Activity Notes

Walking up to one-half mile, flat terrain, some stairs.
