While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Experience the charm of Lancaster County during the most magical time of year. Savor an array of locales and activities that provide a special look at the history and traditions of Christmas in Pennsylvania Dutch Country. Learn about the Amish, Mennonites and Moravians, reflect on the Christmas memories and magic of years gone by at the National Christmas Center, reminisce fireside about personal Christmas traditions and witness the "Miracle of Christmas" at Sight and Sound Theatres.

• Explore the Landis Valley Museum to experience generations of rural Pennsylvania German Christmas traditions and to learn about Belsnickel, the gruff figure who visits before Santa to frighten naughty children.
• During a morning at the Brandywine River Museum, savor an opportunity to admire the acclaimed artwork of three generations of Wyeths.
• Celebrate the holiday in a special way with a home-style Christmas dinner with an Amish family in their home.

Activity Notes
