Discover this area with your digital camera and perfect your skills with classroom instruction and field-excursions led by an award-winning photographer. Enjoy nature walks along the Blue Ridge, urban scenes of Asheville, and the rustic beauty of a pioneer homestead.

Program Notes

This program is intended for beginning-to-intermediate digital photographers. Participants are expected to have read the instruction manual for their cameras and be familiar with their basic operations. Opportunities for traveling companions to attend a different program at Montreat in the same week, if they are not as "focused" on photography as you.

Activity Notes

Walking up to a mile along well-trod paths and city streets; standing for up to a few hours on afternoon field trips.
