See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
A National Parks magazine editor describes John Muir’s first days in Yosemite thusly: “He was overwhelmed by the landscape, scrambling down steep cliff faces to get a closer look at the waterfalls, whooping and howling at the vistas … .” While the whooping and jumping is optional, you will experience the spectacular geologic features that so excited Muir on your choice of one of two expert-led hikes on 3½ days of this exceptional adventure.

• See what Ralph Emerson called one of the few places that "live up to the brag" while hiking the rarely traveled West End Trail.
• From awe-inspiring Glacier Point, choose Panoramic Trail, one of the world's most beautiful hikes, or select Taft Point/Sentinel Dome for views of the valley.
• Hike Tuolumne Meadows to Upper Cathedral Lake and revel in the towering beauty of Cathedral Peak, or hike Lembert Dome for a view of the meadow.
