More than 350 species of birds call Mustang Island and King Ranch their home. In this spectacular birding adventure in South Texas that is sure to add a variety of species to your life list, join experts from the acclaimed University of Texas Marine Science Institute Research and Education Laboratory for an exploration of sandy beaches, major bay systems, extensive marshlands, grasslands and more.


Highlights

• At the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, spot Reddish Egrets, Roseate Spoonbills and a myriad of shorebirds.
• Join an ornithologist at the legendary King Ranch to search for Green Jays and Vermillion Flycatchers.
• Venture south in search of specialty birds such as Ferruginous Pygmy Owls and Hooded Orioles.
