Join in a celebration marking 25 years of Road Scholar adventures with Skagit Valley College. Attend presentations by our most highly rated instructors, learning about the unique ecology of the region and its resident orca pods. Find inspiration in nature through hiking, whale and wildlife observation, and an outdoor sculpture park. Trace the history of the islands’ native inhabitants and European settlers, and delve into an agricultural tradition that has evolved into today’s sustainable farming.


• With marine naturalists, search for wild orcas and seals.
• Learn about Civil War Gen. George Pickett’s connection to the area during an exclusive theatrical performance.
• Enjoy a final-night celebration aboard a chartered yacht.
