Road Scholar
Program #20776RJ
4 Days | 3 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
If you’re looking for a more flexible schedule with ample independent time and several meals on your own, then our FLEX learning adventures are made for you.
In view of the Space Needle glitters the eagerly-awaited Chihuly Garden and Glass exhibit. Pike Place Market puts buyer and producer in face-to-face contact amid craftspeople, street performers and more than 60 cafés and restaurants. An active theater community provides constant stimulation. An abundance of glass art is an on-going delight. Immerse yourself in the many cultural and civic enchantments of beautiful Seattle.

Highlights

• Experts lead field trips to Pike Place Market, Seattle Center and the fascinating City Center Glass Art Collection.
• Visit the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, among the most powerful charitable organizations in the world, and visit Dale Chihuly’s recently unveiled Garden and Glass exhibit.
• In a special event, attend a performance at one of Seattle's renowned theaters.
