If you’re looking for a more flexible schedule with ample independent time and several meals on your own, then our FLEX learning adventures are made for you.
Discover an unmatched landscape and a vibrant ecosystem while kayaking in the Greater Yellowstone region. Led by highly qualified kayak instructors, paddle for four days on the flat lake waters of Slide and Yellowstone Lakes and the moving waters of the Snake River, with optional whitewater kayaking for the more adventurous.


• Enjoy all the outdoors has to offer while kayaking the tranquil waters of Slide Lake and the clear flowing waters of the Snake River.
• The spectacular Greater Yellowstone region comes alive while kayaking Yellowstone Lake and experiencing the thermal features and historic architecture at Old Faithful.
• Certified by the American Canoe Association to teach on flat, moving and whitewater, guides maintain a low 4:1 student-to-instructor ratio.

Program Notes

Appreciate free evenings in Jackson and Yellowstone National Park to enjoy local activities and events. This learning adventure is one of our FLEX programs. It offers a more flexible schedule than our traditional programs and includes ample independent time and several meals on your own.
Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.

Activity Notes

Kayaking 4-6 hours, from flat water up to Class III whitewater (optional); distances depend on skill level of participants. Elevations up to 7,795 feet.
