From Lake Michigan’s great sand dunes, lighthouses and historic resort towns to Mackinac Island’s bygone Victorian charms, experience the majestic grandeur found along the shores of the Great Lakes. Navigate through Lakes Michigan, Ontario, Huron and Erie plus rivers and canals for an in-depth experience of America’s inland seas.


• Experience the great global cities of Chicago and Toronto on city field trips led by local experts.
• Sail through the St. Lawrence Seaway, a deep-water passage of lakes, canals and locks.

Program Notes

Note- The July 7 and July 21 dates run from Chicago to Toronto; the July 14 and August 17 dates run Toronto to Chicago. All ports remain the same.

Activity Notes

Walking up to one mile per day and standing for up to four hours per day. Mobility is essential as small boats are sometimes used for disembarkation and re-embarkation.
