Join us for a special celebration of Indiana and its state parks system at the Potawatomi Inn on the shores of beautiful Lake James. Learn from a Pokagon State Park naturalist about the Civilian Conservation Corps’ impact on Pokagon and other Indiana state parks. Celebrate the Hoosier State with favorite speakers and favorite activities — including a get-together sharing your most-liked books and an arts-and-crafts class teaching you how to sketch and paint a favorite scene from the park.

• See native Indiana birds firsthand during a presentation by Soarin’ Hawk Raptor Rehab.
• Explore topics such as “Indiana Composers,” “Poets and Authors” and the roles of famous Native American leaders such as Tecumseh, Little Turtle and Black Hawk during the tumultuous period of expansion into the Old Northwest Territory.
