See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Prince Edward Island is Canada’s smallest island province boasting brilliant blue waters, over 600 miles of pristine sandy beaches, pastoral hills and some of the most breathtaking cliffs and coastlines in the country. A farming community at heart, PEI's agricultural history spans three centuries and remains an important industry for the Island economy. Discover the rich Acadian and Maritime culture and the undiscovered hidden treasures of the Magdalen Islands. Through scenic routes by bike, kayak and on foot, experience these diverse landscapes and coastlines as they should be explored — up close and outdoors.

• Cycle along the Confederation Trail and the shoreline of Prince Edward Island National Park and learn about the unique ecology of the Greenwich Dunes.
• Go clamming to cook a fresh seafood treat, learn to make lobster traps and hear firsthand maritime stories from a local fisherman.
• Explore the Magdalen Islands’ surface caves by kayak then paddle to Boudreau Island for an invigorating mud bath or mask.
Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.

Activity Notes

Participants must be physically fit and prepared for full days of activity. Cycling up to 35 miles daily over rolling paved roads and trails with some clay or gravel sections. Additional cycling options available. Swimming and paddling ability for water activities.
