The wilderness of Yosemite is an arresting gem in any season, and the drama of its landscapes may be no better appreciated than in the glistening quiet of winter. In this Queen of the National Parks, where snow transforms already famous views into breathtaking spectacles, local experts and National Park Service professionals will lead you by snowshoe to views, valleys, meadows and groves rarely seen by the average winter visitor. Along the way, a sports instructor and Yosemite historian will be on hand to provide a culturally and naturally rich adventure while safely leading your skiing and snowshoeing exploits in the park. This unforgettable journey concludes lunch at the historic Ahwahnee hotel followed by a historical tour of the acclaimed property.

• Snowshoe the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoia, home to the world’s largest plants by mass.
• On a bus field trip to Yosemite Valley, stop at famous landmarks and overlooks like Tunnel View, Bridalveil Fall, El Capitan Meadows and the historic Ahwahnee hotel.
• Snowshoe Yosemite's higher elevation back county which boast spectacular, rarely seen views.
