Program #20161RJ
4 Days | 3 Nights
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Following the Tournament of Roses Parade, experience the fascinating cultural highlights of Los Angeles. In Hollywood, follow the legendary Walk of Fame, view impressions of stars at Grauman's Chinese Theater, glimpse the famous Hollywood sign and more. With a local historian, learn about the Frank Gehry-designed Walt Disney Concert Hall and Jose Rafael Moneo's Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.

• John Daugherty, longtime L.A. resident, shares his passion for the city.
• See how downtown L.A. has evolved from the first settlement at El Pueblo Historical Monument to today's modern urban center.
• View the distinguished collection of Roman, Greek and Etruscan antiquities at the fabulous Getty Villa in Malibu.

This program is an extension of “The Tournament of Roses Parade: A Heritage to Celebrate” (#10515).
