EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
See Philadelphia as it glitters and shines, dressed for the holidays. Take field trips to fabulous estates with incredibly beautiful “decked” halls. Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a performance by the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, followed by revelry in the grand rotunda of the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Then, experience the merrymaking of the Philadelphia Mummers New Year’s Day Parade, an extravaganza with thousands of marchers in extravagant costumes.

• Admire the holiday finery of Winterthur — the estate of Henry Francis du Pont — and take in its unsurpassed collection of antiques and Americana.
• Thrill to stunning horticultural displays at Longwood Gardens, the legacy of Pierre S. du Pont.
• Watch the Mummers Parade outdoors, and head to the Convention Center with ticketed seats to see Broadway Revue performances by the Fancy Brigade Competition.
