Program #20551RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
While all of our learning adventures offer extraordinary value, our "Best Value" programs were rated by our participants themselves who thought their dollar went particularly far.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Program intended for grandchildren from 7 - 10 years of age.

Calling all generations to come together and spearhead the revolution that gave America its independence as you recreate the steps of Paul Revere’s midnight ride! Experience history that resonates with all as the turning point in uniting our country. Let Boston’s Revolutionary spirit move you as you fling tea into the harbor in resistance at the Boston Tea Party Museum. Then follow the Freedom Trail to the USS Constitution, the Navy’s oldest commissioned warship, nicknamed “Old Ironsides” for its impenetrable build. Wind through Boston’s streets and waterways on a “Duck Boat,” witnessing the sites where people sparked a nation. Learn more about this “city upon a hill” and celebrate your Revolutionary journey by making a local favorite and a Boston first: Boston Cream Pie.

Highlights

Go behind the scenes at the Old North Church, climbing the stairs to the steeple that was crucial to American victory and walking below the floorboards in the church’s crypt, a resting place for fallen soldiers.
Discover the world of water at the New England Aquarium and become an aquatics aficionado by taking an explorer class that offers hands-on learning and fun!
Gaze upon the pride of Boston from atop the “Green Monster” at Fenway Park, and enjoy a private-access walk through the beloved park as you soak up the infectious Red Sox spirit.

Activity Notes
