See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Join us for an exclusive, Road Scholar-only week of creativity at Snow Farm: The New England Craft Program in Williamsburg, Mass.! Discover the boundless potential of glass as you create projects ranging from plates to bowls to jewelry. Learn the fundamentals of glass work, from fusing and slumping to surface decoration, with applications for both sculptural and functional forms. With emphasis on the creative process, beginners will be instructed through the process step by step, and those with experience will learn new techniques and tricks. We’ll cap off the week with a student art show and wine-and-cheese reception!

Highlights

• In the heart of the picturesque Berkshire foothills, learn hands-on techniques from a professional artist.
• Savor the culinary delights of the Snow Farm kitchen as you enjoy meals prepared with organic and natural foods, topped off with delicious homemade breads and desserts.
• Studio explorations at the beginning and end of the week offer an exciting look at the progress of student artists who are participating in other workshops.
Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.
