Discover the grand beauty and historical meaning of three great cities of Eastern Canada: Ottawa, the national capital; Montreal, a cosmopolitan center of culture; and Quebec City, the last walled city in the Americas north of Mexico. Compare the distinctive architecture and mood of each city. Explore the halls of grand cathedrals, chateaus and museums. And enjoy discussions with local experts on the history, government and art of Canada.


• Visit the magnificent Notre Dame Basilica, a masterpiece of Gothic revival architecture, followed by a private recital with organist Pierre Grandmaison.
• Discover upper and lower town in Old Quebec, exploring fortifications that date from 1745.
• Journey to the country’s capital to see Parliament Hill.
