See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Glimpses of the 1896 Gold Rush live on in the Klondike boomtown of Skagway. Thousands of harbor seals dot icebergs along 30-mile Tracy Fjord. Beauty surrounds at Glacier Bay National Park one of the world’s largest international protected areas. Capture the essence of Southeast Alaska in this wide-ranging, 14 day, Ketchikan to Sitka adventure, experiencing Native American cultures and authentic local flavor, spotting tidewater glaciers and islands teeming with wildlife, and gaining special insight into a frontier of remarkable beauty and history.

• Accompanied by local experts, experience the 12-mile-long Mendenhall Glacier, which spills out of an ice field the size of the state of Connecticut.
• At spectacular Orca Point Lodge on Colt Island, savor a salmon and king crab dinner as you celebrate the Summer Solstice.
• Explore charming Petersburg, visit Totem Park in Wrangell at the mouth of the great Stikine River, and spot whales, otters, bears, moose and eagles.

Activity Notes

Walks no more than 3/4 of a mile. Climbing in, out of small craft. No elevator on vessel; access requires stairs (steeper than typical household staircase).
