EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Get a behind-the-scenes look at Las Vegas, the "Entertainment Capital of the World.” Learn how casinos are regulated to ensure fair play and have a showgirl take you on a backstage tour of a production show. Gain an intimate knowledge of the entertainers who have performed here over the years, and learn why lounge acts have been replaced by larger productions. Go on an exciting excursion to Red Rock Canyon and encounter a rural escape destination bought in the 1930s by legendary silent film stars Rex Bell and Clara Bow.

Highlights

• Enjoy an exciting evening performance on “The Strip”!
• Learn what Entertainment Engineers have to go through to put on a huge production show in Las Vegas.
• Examine Sin City’s rich history, explore the Hoover Dam power-plant, and marvel at the brand new Colorado River Bridge.

Activity Notes

Must be able to climb stairs and walk on uneven surfaces from three blocks up to one mile.

Coordinated by University of Nevada Las Vegas.
