See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Grab the reins for an adventure that will have you feeding, grooming, saddling, and riding a horse - all with the help of knowledgeable and experienced riding instructors who are part of the Certified Horsemanship Association. Pass through beautiful pastures and out into the Shawnee National Forest past sandstone bluffs, rock-bottom creeks, waterfalls, and oak-hickory forests as you gain new appreciation for the bond between human and animal, as well as the great outdoors, on this extraordinary adventure.

• Learn proper feeding, grooming, and saddling techniques, and enjoy instructional riding sessions followed by trail rides of increasing length and difficulty throughout the week.
• Observe horse behaviors and personalities, learn about equine health issues, and be able to distinguish the characteristics of various breeds.
• Spend your evenings exploring the nocturnal world and relaxing around the campfire as you rest for the next day's ride.
Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.

Activity Notes
