6 Days | 5 Nights
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Let the adventure of space travel excite your imagination. Spend five action-packed days at the Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center, where you build and launch rockets, observe the night sky through state-of-the-art telescopes and take a virtual flight into space. Prepare for your journey into low-earth orbit in the Carey Digital Dome Theater, the Justice Planetarium and Dr. Goddard’s Lab. Learn how astronauts become qualified and train for the experience of living in space and begin the training process yourself in the space center’s sophisticated simulators. By the end of the program, you’ll discover that you just may have “the right stuff.”

• Enjoy briefings from highly qualified staff before honing your astronaut skills in the centrifuge and flight simulators, then apply your newfound expertise on a mission in the space shuttle simulator Falcon III.
• Enjoy exclusive, hands-on activities not available to the public, including opportunities to build and launch rockets and to use sophisticated telescopes to observe the Kansas night sky with limited light pollution.
• Learn about the region’s salt-mining history at an underground museum and explore the Hall of Space Museum, which tells the story of the Space Race with an array of American and Russian space artifacts.
