Program #21216RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderate
Love to learn in a small-group setting? This collection of programs has at most 10-24 participants.
See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
With the beautiful vistas of the Pocono Mountains as your muse, join professional photographer Len Rue for a hands-on workshop dedicated to improving your digital photography skills in the outdoors. Leisurely morning hikes lead to some of the region’s most picturesque waterfalls and trails where you can practice your photography techniques, while afternoon classroom sessions offer instruction on photo enhancement and technology. Photographers of all ability levels can learn to improve their nature and wildlife photography!

Highlights

• Photograph some of the region’s most beautiful locales, including Buttermilk Falls, Tumbling Waters and the Copper Mine Trail.
• Learn about the region’s cultural history during a private presentation by a National Park Service Ranger.
• Join a naturalist for an evening hike that offers a look at vernal pools, nocturnal critters and owls.
Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.

Activity Notes

Hiking 1-2 miles over varied terrain, some inclines.
