Join lifelong learners from around the country for an outdoor learning adventure in picturesque Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem sets the stage for hands-on learning during expert-led small-group encounters in America’s most revered wildernesses. Hikes, wildlife observation, rafting and an old west cookout dinner are just a few of the memorable events in store for you and your fellow adventurers.


Highlights

• Take a scenic float down the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park.
• Ride the aerial tram to the top of Rendezvous Mountain for high-elevation hiking.
• Become familiar with the various challenges that face local and and wildlife managers.

Program Notes

This program has been limited to 120 participants, but the group will be divided into smaller groups for most activities. Each group will do all of the activities listed on the daily schedule, but they will occur in a different order for each group. As such, the days that participants do each activity will vary, as will the dates of the free evenings.


Activity Notes

For field days, participants will be in small groups with a maximum of 15 including the group leader. Evening programs bring the entire group together. Hiking up to six miles over uneven terrain in groups split according to desired intensity. Paddling a canoe for 1-2 hours. Lodgings at 6,200 feet. Activity elevations up to 10,450 feet.
