Program #21261RJ
6 Days | 5 Nights
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Join us for a special opportunity to experience the warm holiday cheer and long-time Christmas traditions of Chicago. We’ll ride our own private trolley through the city, making stops at Christkindle Market and Macy’s to view their spectacular holiday-themed windows. We’ll sip hot chocolate in the Walnut Room and see the Thorne Miniature Rooms at the Art Institute all decked out for the holidays. From a cozy horse-drawn carriage ride amid the twinkling lights of Chicago's Magnificent Mile to the annual Poinsettia show and train exposition at Lincoln Park Conservatory, you’ll see why one of our nation’s grandest cities is at her best during Christmas.

• On Christmas Eve, enjoy a festive holiday dinner on Chicago's famed Gold Coast.
• Explore Chicago’s great cultural treasures: the Art Institute, Museum of Science and Industry, Lurie Garden in Millennium Park and much more.
• Learn about Chicago’s fascinating history from outstanding instructors and on explorations throughout the city, including the Old Town with homes dating to the Victorian era.
