Road Scholar
Program #21178RJ
8 Days | 7 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Active
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Join us for a week of good old-fashioned music, learning and fun in the “Live Entertainment Capital of the World,” Branson, Missouri. We have an amazing lineup in store at Branson’s world-famous venues. Hear live music from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, Broadway hits and gospel, plus specialty circus shows, magic and comedy. Learn how early settlers of the Ozarks created a fabric woven of faith, love of country and family that still endures and is the essence of Branson’s feel-good entertainment today. If you have ever wanted to experience Branson — or if you’ve always wanted to come back — this is a can’t-miss event!

Highlights

• You’ll stay in accommodations in the heart of the action in historic downtown Branson, right across the street from bustling Branson Landing.
• Attend four outstanding performances (including the New Shanghai Circus) and two private shows!
• Learn what is distinctive about Ozark geology and culture including dialects, folklore, religion, and especially the music that has been passed along from generation to generation.
• View works by Sargent, Homer, Rockwell, Warhol and other prominent artists on a full-day field trip to the magnificent new Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
