ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Embrace the best Peabody Conservatory has to offer as you explore the numerous complex elements involved in music making. Attend six concert performances by notable faculty professionals and outstanding student artists, plus a rare opportunity to sit on stage next to a Peabody Symphony Orchestra student performer during a rehearsal led by iconic American pianist-conductor Leon Fleisher, immediately followed by an exclusive Q&A for our group.

• Explore and discuss key aspects of much of the repertoire you will hear performed in expert-led lectures highlighting the composer’s style of composition and orchestration.
• Enjoy dynamic concert performances each evening including Schubert’s Mass No. 6; a guest artist piano recital featuring Beethoven, Ravel, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, Liszt, and Chopin; and observe the pride of young middle school student composers hearing their works played for the first time by talented Peabody Conservatory students.
• Delight in a full performance of the program you heard in rehearsal as Maestro Fleisher conducts great works of Mozart, Hindemith, and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2.

Coordinated by Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University.
