EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
If you’re looking for a more flexible schedule with ample independent time and several meals on your own, then our FLEX learning adventures are made for you.
By boat, trolley and train, explore three notable American cites. Gain insights into the story told by the Chicago skyline during an architectural survey by boat. Journey by train to Springfield and retrace Lincoln’s footsteps in his home and presidential museum. Relive Route 66 on a road trip to St Louis as you gain new awareness of this region. Experience each city’s beloved landmarks plus hidden local treasures. Set out on your own to explore the historic and cultural sites of most interest to you, equipped at all times with the expert advice of your study leader, who shares a wealth of information and insights about these cities.
