Immerse yourself in the history, tradition and craftsmanship of American quilting at the Lowell Quilt Festival. Whether you’re a seasoned master or an enthusiastic newcomer, come to Lowell, Mass., at the heart of the nation’s historic textile-production region to view textile masterpieces that range from traditional quilts to contemporary works of art. Hear lectures from experts and pay visits to historic points that paint a picture of Lowell’s textile-manufacturing roots. Top it off by attending the IMAGES quilt show, featuring the broadest range of top-quality quilts in the East, with entries from hundreds of local, national and international quilters.

• Learn about the art, history and science of textiles at the American Textile History Museum.
• Enjoy special insights during an exclusive Road Scholar presentation and discussion with an artist whose work is featured at this year's festival.
• See antique and contemporary quilts made between the late 18th century and today, including works by highly esteemed quilters, at the historic New England Quilt Museum.
