Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Come to where the Delaware River bursts through the Appalachian Mountains for a multi-sport adventure that reveals the natural treasures of the Delaware Water Gap from every angle. Gaze down onto the gap from the Appalachian Trail on hikes in rustic Pennsylvania and New Jersey. See it from the road as you cycle through the countryside in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Experience it up close as you paddle through it in a canoe or kayak on the pristine Delaware River. On each adventure, naturalists and other experts interpret your awesome surroundings.

• Take scenic hikes along the Appalachian Trail with a naturalist who details the history of the trail and points out native plants and animals.
• Paddle a canoe or kayak down the Delaware River and through the Delaware Water Gap and enjoy an opportunity to swim in an eddy pool.
• Pedal your bike alongside a whitewater river, picnic near a rustic waterfall and spend your evenings learning about the history and nature of the area.
Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.
