Program intended for grandchildren from 9 - 12 years of age.

Join together with your grandchild to discover Alberta’s rich Western heritage and the cultures and customs of Western Canada. Attend the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth, the Calgary Stampede, where you meet cowboys, cowgirls, bareback riders and trainers behind the scenes. Journey through the foothills of the Rocky Mountains to Banff National Park where you learn from naturalists about its geology. Enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Louise and Victoria Glacier from a gondola, search for and observe grizzly bears and uncover dinosaur fossil replicas on a dig in Drumheller with the same tools and techniques used by real paleontologists.

• Journey the Icefields Parkway, one of the most spectacular and scenic routes in Canada, then explore on foot the Athabasca Glacier.
• Search for fossils and see real dinosaur remains on a field trip to Alberta's badlands.
• Experience the exhilaration of the thundering Chuckwagon Races and the Spectacular Stampede Grandstand Show with live music, dance and fireworks.
• Meet with an expert wildlife biologist to learn about grizzly bear conservation and look for grizzlies from the vantage point of the Lake Louise gondola.
