Program #9926RJ
7 Days | 6 Nights
ACTIVITY LEVEL: Moderately Challenging
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding — and rewarding — programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.

Program intended for grandchildren from 11 - 15 years of age.

Discover the beauty and grandeur of the Rocky Mountains with your grandchild as you go adventuring through its marvelous land formations on foot, alpine slide, alpine coaster, zipline and hot-air balloon. Gain an intimate knowledge of the region where erosion and fault activity have exposed the most valuable silver lode pocket in America. Watch Olympic athletes train and get a VIP look behind-the-scenes of Utah Olympic Park.

• Experience the Rocky Mountain terrain as you’ve never seen it before in a thrilling hot-air balloon ride.
• Take an exploratory journey through a glacier carved canyon via historic train and river raft float.
• Embark on an expert-led excursion through the awe-inspiring Timpanogos Cave National Monument in the Wasatch Mountains.

Activity Notes

Hikes of 2-4 miles (round trip) at elevations up to 12,000 feet. Rafting is a mild float trip down Provo River. Must be in good physical condition and able to participate in activities on uneven, rugged or steep terrain.
