The Hudson River Valley has been called the landscape that defined America. Join us to explore its nationally significant cultural and historic heritage with expert background presentations and field trips to iconic sites such as New Paltz’s historic Huguenot Street, one of the nation’s oldest, featuring seven unique stone houses dating to the early 1700s, a burial ground and a reconstructed 1717 stone church.


• Enjoy an afternoon cruise on the majestic Hudson amid splendid scenery and to gain perspectives on the important role of the Hudson River.
• In June, attend a performance of the Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival, visit West Point and the beautiful Boscobel Mansion.
• In July, spend a day exploring the Mohonk Mountain House and visit the Gomez Mill House, the oldest Jewish residence in North America and Washington’s final Revolutionary War Headquarters in Newburgh.

This program date will attend a performance of the Hudson Valley Shakespeare festival and include visits to both West Point and Boscobel, home of one of the nation's leading collections of furniture and decorative arts from the Federal period.7/10/2016
This program date will spend at day at the Mohonk Mountain House, enjoying its grounds and gardens. Additionally participants will visit the Gomez Mill House, the oldest Jewish Residence in North America and Washington’s final Revolutionary War Headquarters overlooking the Hudson River.
