Come to experience one of America’s special places. Cape May is the country’s oldest seaside resort, situated at the tip of Cape May Peninsula where Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic. During World War II, it played an important role thanks to this strategic position. Today, the entire city is a designated National Historic District for its wealth of Victorian architecture that provides a wonderful backdrop for a modern arts community. Gain expert knowledge and insider perspectives as you breathe in the sea air and feel the energy of a preservationist renaissance.

• Learn about nature and history on a narrated harbor cruise and the fishing industry’s impact on an expert led walk along Fisherman’s Wharf.
• At Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum, learn about the World War II dive-bomber squadron training facility in Hangar #1 that now displays vintage aircraft and special exhibits.
• Attend a performance at one of three Equity theater companies that call Cape May home.

Activity Notes
