See our Small Group programs.
EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Any flower lover’s spirits will be raised by the blooming of springtime in Washington. See the tulip fields of the Skagit River Delta in their peak season and explore a unique Pacific Northwest-style woodland garden that is home to the state flower, the Coast Rhododendron. Along the way encounter delicate cherry trees, magnificent magnolias and dainty daffodils. Enjoy a special treat — crossing the breathtaking Deception Pass gorge for stunning views from the bridge.

• Experience the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival with a master gardener.
• Explore the Meerkerk Rhododendron Garden on a horticulturalist-led visit.
• Step back in time at Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve, a district of prairie farmland preserved as it was in the 19th century.

Activity Notes

Please expect frequent getting in and out of mini-coach. You will be enjoying the out of doors each day, so please dress in layers and bring warm, waterproof clothing and umbrella for outdoor use. We will be walking short distances on well-maintained fields and trails and may be standing at outdoor venues for up to one hour at a time.

Coordinated by Skagit Valley College.
