EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. Minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.
Moderately ChallengingFor hardy explorers who enjoy a good physical challenge, spending most of their days on the go.
ChallengingGet ready to keep up with our highest-energy group. These demanding, and rewarding, programs are for seasoned outdoor enthusiasts.
Canoe or kayak the dark waters of the Suwannee River and the clear, spring-fed waters of the Ichetucknee on this educational expedition. Hike two miles to discover Florida’s only Class 3 white water rapids at Big Shoals State Park. Explore the nature of Florida’s karst topography while hiking to The Blue Hole at Ichetucknee Springs. Discover regional folk life as local residents share their food, music, dance and stories and welcome you into their community. Enjoy woodland picnics, study the pine and palmetto forests, and healing springs that have all left their mark on this region.

• Square dance to the tunes of Florida's state fiddling champion, and join a “howl-a-long” with Florida's environmental troubadour.
• Feast on local home cooking — from mayhaw jelly to swamp cabbage — at bountiful church suppers.
• Learn about the life and work of one of Florida’s most famous composers at the Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park.
