A rafting adventure in the lower Granite Gorge is the most accessible way to experience the thrill of the Grand Canyon’s rapids and the serenity of its beaches. From the rim to the canyon bottom, experience the Grand Canyon on a hike-and-raft expedition that will reveal the canyon’s unparalleled natural and human history. Along the way, local experts share knowledge, provide leadership on the river and trail and prepare gourmet meals as you relax riverside and contemplate your spectacular surroundings.


Highlights

• Enjoy three days of camping out in the Grand Canyon and rafting the Granite Gorge to experience the thrills of whitewater rapids in small groups.
• Gain an insider’s perspective on the natural history of the Grand Canyon from a trained geologist with more than 20 years of experience.
• Spend a day hiking in Grand Canyon National Park to gain a comprehensive view of this incomparable destination.

Activity Notes

Hiking 2-5 miles, elevation changes up to 800 feet. Rafting three days, climbing in and out of rafts with personal belongings, sleeping in tents on a pad and sleeping bag.
