EasyFor people looking to exercise their minds more than their bodies. There’s minimal walking and not too many stairs.
ModerateThese programs get you on your feet and include activities such as walking up to a mile in a day through a city and standing in a museum for a few hours.
ActiveFor people who enjoy walking as much as two miles a day, perhaps to explore historic neighborhoods or a nature trail.

Blaze a new trail to personal well-being, opening your mind to techniques and exercises you may never have considered before. Choose the program date that best suits your needs. One week offers you the chance to explore ways to manage stress, get a good night’s sleep and maintain a positive outlook while delving into topics ranging from chocolate and love to sex and intimacy. Alternatively, spend a week learning how to integrate body and mind through simple breathing and stretching exercises and examining the psalms of the Bible, not only as religious texts, but also as literary entities ripe with wisdom about well-being.


Highlights

• Spend a week learning ways to think and feel your best on the beautiful and relaxing Montreat Conference Center Campus.
• Choose a week of learning ways to improve your communication skills, manage stress and recharge yourself with Dr. Barbara Udell, a behavioral health expert.
• Select a different date to practice beneficial breathing and stretching techniques, learn the fundamentals of neurobics and study biblical Psalms in a literary and psychological light.
Due to the nature of this program, listening devices are not available.

Activity Notes

All facilities are in one building, with approximately 300 yards walking required; a few stairs. Outside areas are mountainous, with inclines and uneven terrain.
